About Hanna

Helping people feel truly seen

For over 15 years I’ve walked alongside adolescents, young adults, and families through emotional challenges, stress, crisis, and big life changes. My work is about helping people reconnect with their inner strength and move forward with hope.

I’m a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) and psychotherapist. In my sessions I bring together talking and creating art. When words are hard to find — especially for children and teenagers — art can open a door. Through images, we gently explore what’s happening inside, at your own pace.

I’ve immigrated twice, learned new languages more than once, and found my place again. I know how hard that can be, especially for young people — and as a mother of two sons, I’ve lived it as a parent too. I believe every person carries the strength to heal and grow. Sometimes they just need a safe space, and someone to walk beside them.

“No art skill needed — art is simply another way to say what’s hard to put into words.”

How I can help

Counselling, rooted in belonging

Grounded in Adlerian Individual Psychology — an approach built on belonging, encouragement, and each person’s strengths — and always trauma-informed, compassionate, and culturally responsive.

Children & teens

A gentle, creative space for young people facing anxiety, stress, self-esteem, friendships, or big changes — meeting them where words run out.

Young adults & adults

Support through life transitions, identity, stress, and the weight of starting over — finding footing and a way forward.

Couples

A steady place to be heard, rebuild connection, and understand the patterns between you with care and honesty.

Good to know

Frequently asked

Which languages do you offer counselling in?

Sessions are available in English, and counselling is also offered in Hebrew, Russian, and Ukrainian.

Are sessions online or in person?

Right now sessions are virtual, over secure video. In-person sessions in the Greater Vancouver area can be arranged — just ask when you reach out.

Who do you work with?

Children, teens, young adults, and adults, as well as couples and families. I have particular experience supporting young people and families through transition and crisis.

Do I need to be “good at art”?

Not at all. There’s nothing to get right. Art is simply another way to express what can be hard to say — and it’s always optional.

How do I book a session?

Use the Book online button or the contact form below. Once booking is live, you’ll be able to choose a time directly through the secure Jane platform.

Can RCC counselling be covered by my benefits?

Many extended health plans provide coverage for services from a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC). Please check your specific plan — details on fees and receipts will be confirmed when you book.
